Designers Biography

First of all I'd like to thank you for Visiting my site and taking the time to look around. I've been making and designing bears for just under two year's , I've always loved teddy bears as most people do so it just really came from that, one day just thought hey ill have a ago!!

How it Began

I started out making smaller bears (25cm) my first bear was not a great success but it inspired me to carry on.

I sore this first bear as a new way to express my art work and it really seems a great way to do it.

I love designing the concept art of my bears then trying to put that into Practise with fur. I see them as sculptures like what I would do with clay or metal etc.

I find it exiting in watching as the bear comes out of the fur and the shape's, looking up at me and sort of saying "here I am you found me" I want to use allot of different type's of materials to make my bears I've seen people make them from knitting or crochet though for this I'm still learning :P its not so easy lol.

I've been though art school I was heading to be an Illustrator but though unseen circumstances that got put on hold. I want to design my bears with the thought of my art and I hope that it will start showing in them,

I find making Bears both relaxing and fun and Humours at some points.

Drawing

I found out I could draw by accident really. I remember sitting on the floor, (I think I was about 7) messing round colouring a picture and from there I started trying to draw it, it just seem to just flow out of my pen really weird feeling I can remember it even now so from there I just wanted to draw now my talents have gone into other things and now I'm trying my hand at bears and loving it.

So now I'm here trying to make my way into the world of making bears wish me luck ^.^
